FREE BIKE MARKING EVENT WITH MET CADETS – Mottingham Ward

Dear Ward Members,

Last week, the Mottingham Safer Neighbourhood Team and Met Cadets hosted a FREE Bike Marking Event at Mottingham Sports Ground/Foxes Field.

It was great to meet and engage with members of our local community, helping residents register and security mark their bicycles to reduce the risk of theft. We also spoke with attendees about local policing issues and encouraged residents to sign up to Met Engage to receive updates, crime prevention advice, and information about community events in the area.

A special thank you to our Met Cadets, who continue to play an important role in supporting local policing. Throughout the event, the Cadets engaged with residents, promoted community safety, and encouraged people to sign up to Met Engage to stay informed about policing activity in their area.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. We look forward to seeing you at future community events.
